Orange Cat
Yesterday was great. I went with my family to the state history museum. I had a great time with the Mayan section. Almost immediately I wanted to rush home and start making a plushie never mind if I had commissions or not. They have the cutest animals ever. I had a really great time in the science section. My Dad and eye played around with a lot of the inventions an optical illusions. We spent about 10 minutes on this one balance tester. The score for the day was 2.7 seconds and we would not leave until it was beaten. I was the first one to get anywhere close it it at 2.3 and did better over all then my dad because I would get in the high 1's. My dad wins the final score though. I had given up and told him he had one more try, the rat got 3.4 and we ended the moment with a awkward not facing each other highfive. Another one we did was where you had to try and trace the lines of a star inbetween too copper pieces. The copper would buzz if you hit it. The hard part was that you had to trace it in a mirror. My dad hit my arm my first try to test it. I got him back by telling him to try on the other and then proceeded to laugh at all the buzzing and his version of cursing coming from the other side. I managed, the time I wasn't pushed, to do the whole star without hitting the copper. I came close though.
The art section was down but there was art being displayed by the artist Mort Kunstler. It isn't very often that both me and my dad adore an artist but he made us both fall in love. I wanted nothing more then to rush home and paint. I was just short of declaring that I needed to stay off the internet so I could become a master. That was pushing it but I am seriously considering doing it when I transfer schools and I told him so.
Here is his wedsite: Mort Kunstler
Also this may be tmi but it needs to be said, the way to make yourself hate everyone around you is to have to use the restroom painfully for a half hour. Everyone instantly becomes assholes.

Anniversary
So Gaiaonline had its 10th anniversary yesterday and I freaken loved it. I talked to so many people. I meet a couple who based their characters off of the Real Disney Housewives so there was a drunken Cinderella and a prince running around with gifs. I talked to so many people, even found a few mods to ask things of. I got a spooky anon gift. It was cool.
I didn't post this yeserday do to the fact my camera battery died. It takes months for that to happen and I always fail to realize when it is going.

Orange Lolly Pop
The background may come as a surprise but I've been thinking that if I'm going to take the time to do so many Halloween projects that I could do with a change in background to reflect that. I picked candy because of my massive sweet tooth but also because I'm starting out the month by doing candy. I may change to fall leaves further into the month.
Along with the change in background I have been thinking I should try and talk more on this blog. That is the whole point of a blog right? To say something? I'm not the most talkative person in person. The only time I really get going is with my dad and that involves a lot of nothing. I don't think it is too appropriate or interesting to ramble on about what is going on with Doctor Who or if there is a Pokemon event happening. It gets old, but so does my not saying anything.
I also don't want to whine about my "nothing" changes in life. I tend to fall into that trap and it is getting worse as I indulge my short comings. I guess it is better then nothing in a way. Good or bad I can admit to getting a D on my math midterm and freaking out about it. Or how I feel Anatomy is such a hill that I can't seem to get started crossing it.
One thing I feel I do best with is replying. So if there is anything you out there would like to know more about or get my opinion on I would love to hear it. I have a few more maybe thoughts that I may try to do. Like post more of the things I find interesting or helpful videos. I also bought a new quotations book today that I'm dieing to find a use for. Maybe I could share a few or give thoughts on the things I hear.
Also I think this is the best way in the world to use those poker sticks that come in polyester fiberfill. You know those annoying things they add in to help you put the stuffing in but are kinda useless because they are stuck so far in the middle you can't find them till the bag is half way used up? Ya those things.

Bow 4
I went and picked up my book for my summer class, sadly I missed the book sell back section. I also had to mow part of the yard which took a good two hours. That paired with a few other things has left me tired.

Bow
I wish I had pink than it would at least make sense when neapolitan comes to mind.
Once again Chasing the Frill has gotten me into something, just this time it is bows. Expect more.

Ink Still Lives
I love ink still life drawing. Just me, my pen, and the object in front of me. I find it the perfect way to capture what is you see at any given moment. I would like to use my still lives as a reason to get out and really look at the places around me.
This is a picture of my work desk, my painting storage under the window, and the other desk which I don't use but do keep my art books on. Above those art books are manga and above that is dvd's and finally stuffed animals. On the left is more books, mostly children's chapter books and classics, as well as the top shelf where I keep many of my more personal stuffed animals. This is a bigger picture:
These are a few other random objects from around my room.
This was started from a weird conversation about a lamp and a lamb. When ever someone says they wish they could draw like me I tell them to go draw from life and grab a lamp. Somewhere along the way a lamb was added in and I made up my mind to take my own advice and draw a lamp....only I didn't get very far.
Sadly the only one of these done anytime recently was the leopard hair bow. I also, silly me, forgot the few loose sheets I have in my desk. I can post them later. As for why these are so yellow I took them outside and the sun was going down. I couldn't take them earlier because I was at a Children's Christmas play. The play was good but I ate too much after.
I would like to thank Nexess from Zantarni for editing these pictures to remove the nasty yellow. I'm an artist who can't photo edit, oh my.
This is my dresser right in front of my left desk as well as ceder trunk. I kinda hate this thing right now for being covered. Earrings, hair ties, and bangles everywhere.
Finally I have a few from when I went to my grandmothers:
