February 4th: Granny Squares

I was talking to a friend who also crochets and I mentioned I had never made a granny square before. I've always thought they where awesome. I wanted my first granny square to be an amazing project of ridiculous proportions. As it is I can't invest in that much yarn at the moment and had to scale back. I have a few ideas of what I would like to do and needed to practice before I started. With Valentines in mind, and my many pink yarns, I made one. Just a bit of a problem with that....my purple edging back fired and made the photo all purple. Nice picture, totally inaccurate.
